Automated Report to the Trade Repository

Due to the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR), trade using OTC and listed derivatives will be subject to reporting to a trade repository in the case of completion, modification or termination of a contract. Although it is possible to report manually to the trade repository and download the status response via web application, this is not an efficient solution. Automation, on the other hand, offers several advantages:

• Report within the stated period, avoiding administrative fines
• Automatic return of status information regarding the reported trade
• Automatic receipt of periodic reports from the trade repository

With the StepStream solution, reports and replies to/from the following trade respositories are processed automatically:

• REGIS-TR
• other trade repositories in preparation, e.g. DTCC
